SocLab Foundation's mission is to increase the involvement of citizens in the public life, to support them to become aware and active citizens, especially in their local communities. It is realized through activities related to social science, participation, design and implementation of social innovation with particular emphasis on new technologies.

Participation SocLab designs and leads participatory processes, especially public consultations at the local level. We provide training and expert support for local authorities, social organizations and communities on civic participation. We create conditions for a common conversation and for citizens to influence decisions on public matters.
Research We conduct social research, diagnoses and evaluations for local authorities, cultural institutions, community organisations. Cooperating with various research centres, we provide robust analyses for knowledge-based decision making.
Social Innovations SocLab promotes social innovation, also in the field of introducing new technologies, into social organizations and local governments, with a close eye on civic tech solutions. We are implementing the CitizenLab participation platform in Polish local governments and promoting hybrid participation.
Our team The Foundation’s team is composed of experienced social researchers, participation experts, trainers and facilitators, who share the Foundation's mission. Our social and methodological knowledge is coupled with experience of direct cooperation with citizens and public institutions.
We work with local governments, social organizations, cultural institutions, companies, schools and universities in Poland and Europe.
